Essential Oils that ‘may’ increase blood-thinning effects



If you are taking blood thinners or aspirin daily, you may need to use caution or avoid the following essential oils from any brand or company.  We want you to use essential oils properly & safely with Ameo, the only clinical grade essential oils available in the USA. 
 

Birch: When topically applied it may increase blood-thinning effects.


Cinnamon: May have some minor blood thinning properties when taken with aspirin and blood pressure medications.











Clove: Use caution when using with aspirin or blood-thinning medications because it thins the blood slightly.  









Cypress: has some blood thinning properties.  Use caution when taking aspirin or
blood thinning medications.



Eucalyptus Radiata: Use caution when ingesting if you are taking aspirin or blood pressure medications.  It may have a mild blood-thinning properties. 









German Chamomile: When taken orally, it may have some blood-thinning effects. 


Ginger: When taken orally with aspirin or blood thinners, it may have some
blood-thinning effects. 










Lemongrass: When taken orally with aspirin or blood thinners, it may increase blood-thinning effects.  









Oregano: When taken orally with aspirin or blood thinners, it may increase
blood-thinning effects.  












Pine: When taken orally with aspirin or blood thinners, it may increase blood-thinning effects. 


Rosemary: When taken orally it may increase blood-thinning effects. 













Sweet Basil: When ingesting in high quantities may have some blood thinning
properties, some minor effects on raising blood pressure causing minor confusion & diarrhea. 









Thyme: When taken orally with aspirin or blood thinners, it may increase blood-thinning effects.









Wintergreen: When applied topically it may increase blood-thinning effects.
