Combating Time and the Environment with Essential Oils

Combating Time and the Environment

You can't stop the march of time, but you can give your body the tools it needs to fight aging and ravages of the environment. The normal process of oxidation is unpreventable. Your tissues are constantly replenishing themselves, eliminating the old cells and creating new ones. But sometimes these new cells are damaged and become "free radicals". These free radicals can hurt healthy cells, causing cancer, arthritis, aging and heart disease. Free radicals can develop from exposure to toxins such as cigarette smoke, high levels of alcohol, pesticides, chemicals and pollutants. Too many free radicals in your system can create a cascade of bad health effects and make it more difficult for your healthy cells to function properly.

Antioxidants have proven to be the best weapon in the fight against free radicals. Antioxidants help to clean up free radicals and stop the chain reaction they cause in your body. These important building blocks are found in foods such as red or purple berries, nuts, dark green vegetables, whole grains and fish. A diet rich in antioxidants will give your body the boost it needs to rid itself of free radicals and prevent the damage they can cause.

Several essential oils are amazingly high in antioxidants, much higher than any food. Using these oils can make a big difference in your overall health and ability to achieve wellness.

Clove
This essential oil is by far the most potent antioxidant, beating out other oils and all foods. Clove oil is very strong and can create side effects if you take very much of it. To take it internally, you should significantly dilute the oil in a healthy fat and put it in a veggie cap. (healthy fat is a carrier oil like coconut oil)

Thyme
Use a drop of thyme essential oil in your cooking to add powerful antioxidants to your family's meal

Cinnamon
Diffuse cinnamon oil or use it in your cooking to benefit from its antioxidant properties

Rosemary
Massage a few drops of rosemary oil into your feet daily or take as a supplement in a veggie cap to provide your body with valuable antioxidants

Sandalwood
Rub a few drops of sandalwood oil into your wrists and ankles to absorb its antioxidant properties

Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit
Add 2-3 drops of lemon oil, orange oil, grapefruit oil or a combination to your favorite beverage to aid in digestion, boost your metabolism, and provide rich antioxidants.

> Apply Tea tree oil topically or add several drops to a warm bath to help fight bacterial infections

> Frankincense offers many systemic benefits including protection of DNA and the cellular structurees of both the body and the brain. As both are immune booster and anti-inflammatory, Frankincense oil is unique in it's clinical therapeutic value.

> Add a few drops of Orange oil to water to help relieve stress, aid in digestion and encourage metabolic detoxification

> Add Spruce, Eucalyptus radiata, Wintergreen and Frankincense oils to a hot bath with epsom salts to help relieve flu symptoms

>When traveling, add Grapefruit oil to your water bottle to increase energy levels and minimize jet lag symptoms

Remember, not all essential oils are created equal. ONLY Clinical Grade, essential oils (now found in America from Ameo), have cell permeability and viability. Don't fall for marketing hype, see for yourself with the actual test results of each batch of oil, YOUR bottles of oil. Nothing to hide, don't take our word for it, check for yourself.

Protecting Yourself with Antibacterial / Antifungal / Antiviral Oils

Staying free from illness and infections is critical to well-being. It's wise to take proactive steps to keep harmful bacteria and germs from entering your body. Many essential oils contain natural antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties to help protect you and your family. The Protecting Oil Blend, combines several of these oils in clean, aromatically pleasing scent. Use the Protecting Blend as household cleaner or diffuse it thorughout your home to naturally free your home of unwanted germs and viruses.

Purifying BLend, helps eliminate unwanted odors while cleaning the air. It's crisp citrus scent provides a fresh, uplifting feeling in your home or workplace.

You can also diffuse these oils singly or in your own combinations to clean and refresh the air.
